Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Vooth, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Vooth Does

Vooth monitors connected messaging platforms for messages from contacts you designate as VIPs and sends you alerts. For Phone tier subscribers, Vooth also provisions a dedicated phone number for call and SMS monitoring. Vooth is a monitoring and alerting tool — it does not send messages, post content, or take any action on any platform on your behalf unless you explicitly initiate a reply.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to connect the accounts you link to Vooth. By connecting a platform account, you represent that you are authorized to grant Vooth read access to that account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Not a HIPAA-Compliant Platform

Vooth is not a HIPAA-compliant platform and may not be used to receive, store, transmit, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

Vooth has not entered into Business Associate Agreements with its infrastructure providers for purposes of HIPAA compliance, and does not provide the technical, administrative, or physical safeguards required of a HIPAA Business Associate.

If you are a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate — including but not limited to healthcare providers, health plans, and healthcare clearinghouses — you may not use Vooth in any capacity that involves the receipt or handling of PHI, including monitoring personal phone numbers or messaging accounts to which patients may send clinical communications.

Use of Vooth in violation of this prohibition is solely at your own risk. Vooth LLC assumes no liability for any HIPAA violation, regulatory action, or breach arising from a covered entity's use of the service in contravention of these terms.

6. Connected Platforms

Vooth connects to third-party platforms (Google, Microsoft, Slack, Meta, etc.) using OAuth. You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of each platform you connect. Vooth is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these platforms.

7. Call Recording and Transcription

If you use the Phone tier, calls to your Vooth number may be recorded and transcribed for the purpose of generating alerts and summaries. An announcement is played to callers at the start of each call notifying them that the call may be recorded or transcribed. You are responsible for ensuring your use of call recording complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

8. Service Availability

Vooth is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Alert delivery depends on third-party webhook infrastructure outside our control. We are not liable for missed alerts.

9. Termination

You may stop using Vooth and disconnect all platforms at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vooth's liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email.
